Something arrived damaged or wrong

Send your order number and a photo within 30 days of delivery. We will send a free replacement or refund you — your choice — and you do not need to post the item back.

Email us within 12 hours of ordering. Everything is printed to order, so once production starts we cannot change it.

We have Backyard Birds mugs for all 50 states. If a regular at your feeder isn't on yours, suggest it here — what people ask for decides what goes on the next version.

You want to know what bird you saw

Try the identifier first — three questions and it narrows your bird to the backyard regulars it could be. If it doesn't settle it, email us and tell us what you saw: size compared to something you know, the colour that struck you first, and where in the yard it was.

We make bird gifts, not field guides. For a confirmed identification, the free Merlin Bird ID app from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology will take a photo or a recording and do it properly.
